  • Educational Objectives

We’re excited to learn more about your farm and the proposed educational experience you would like to host for ASCFG members.
  • Please describe your farm as if you were talking with fellow members. What do you grow? What will other growers be most excited to learn? What process or product are you most proud of on your farm? What are your most important cut flowers? Do you have unique systems or specialties? Conversations on farm layout, production systems, varieties, infrastructure, and sales outlets are all appreciated topics.
  • Hosts should have previous experience speaking and/or leading a tour or workshop. While an educational background is not required, please share about your prior experiences in this area.
  • Briefly list the THREE most important take-aways a farmer will learn on your farm tour. Examples include but are not limited to, “Attendees will learn how I manage my crop-specific breeding program and will gain ideas for their own” or “Attendees will learn how I developed my sales channels through deliberate outreach to florists over the course of five years.”

Questions to consider: What educational programming are you offering? For example, will you have guest speakers? Will there be hands-on activities, such as creating a flower crown or drafting a social media strategy?
  • These will be used to promote and publicize your event.
