The Cut Flower Quarterly is the only periodical dedicated to informing growers about the production, postharvest care, and marketing of cut flowers. The Winter issue is filled with color photos and descriptions of the year’s upcoming new varieties. It is also home to the highly-anticipated ASCFG National Trials results, including seed and perennial plant trials. Regular content covers integrated pest management, research updates, business management, and reports from growers across the country. Members receive a unique username and password that allows access to this searchable site that includes current and archived issues of The Cut Flower Quarterly, educational videos, slideshows, pricing tools and guides, and more! Networking

ASCFG Members Only Facebook Group is designed to provide members with the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience. This user-friendly forums allow members to post questions and answers, share photos and videos, and search for topics related to their specific needs. 

Conferences and Farm Tours offer educational sessions, floral design shows, and farm and greenhouse tours. These meetings vary in format from casual hands-on learning to Growers’ Schools with in-depth instruction regarding production methods, pest management, postharvest care, and marketing. These gatherings also provide members time to meet one another face-to-face to share their experiences.

Education

Ask an Expert Webinar Series features ASCFG member experts who share their ideas, insights, and lessons learned on a specific topic. Driven by experience, these webinars provide a robust overview of the topic before segueing into an interactive question and answer period for attendees. Research and the Flower Farmer The goal of this webinar series is to connect ASCFG members with the latest research in cut flowers and to inspire new ideas for crop, farm, and business management. During these online events, recent recipients of the Research Foundation’s Competitive Grants share synopses of their research, along with the exciting applications of the results, before a short Q and A session with attendees. Marketing

LocalFlowers.org was created to promote ASCFG growers and encourage the public to buy local flowers. Members are listed on a map and directory that is searchable by location, services provided, and flowers. Members may update their personal page to indicate the flowers they grow, services they provide, and add links to point to their own site, galleries, catalogs, and more. This beautiful website offers yet another opportunity for buyers to find your flowers!
