2024 Education Programs: Call for Proposals
The ASCFG is currently planning the 2024 education program and we have an array of opportunities for members to share their knowledge through a webinar, a farm tour, or an online course. Here is how you can get involved!
ASCFG Launch: Deadline November 15, 2023
A recent addition and subsidiary to the ASCFG Mentor Program, ASCFG Launch provides members with short-term mentorship opportunities during which they are guided by experts on cut flower farming topics through online workshops and courses. Are you an expert on a cut flower farming topic? If so, propose a course today! Should you be selected, you will partner with the ASCFG Education Director to co-design an online course for other ASCFG members. Compensation, responsibilities, and course details are negotiated upon acceptance.
Ask an Expert: Deadline November 1, 2023
The Ask an Expert webinar series features ASCFG member experts who share their ideas, insights, and lessons learned on a specific topic through a one time, one hour long webinar. Presenters are compensated and the time commitment, including preparation and presentation, is up to but no more than five hours. Apply today!
Flowers are Serious Business: Deadline November 1, 2023
This new, short term webinar series consists of one hour online presentations to occur in Winter 2024. Have expertise on the financial, operational, and legal development, growth, and management of a cut flower endeavor? If so, propose a topic today! Should you be selected, your total anticipated time commitment is five to seven hours. Compensation, responsibilities, and other details are negotiated upon acceptance.

Farm Tours: Deadline January 1, 2024
Farm tours are generously hosted by your fellow ASCFG members and facilitate farmer-to-farmer knowledge sharing. These day-long or half-day tours provide attendees with an overview of the cut flower crops, production practices, and markets and sales strategies of the host farm. With twelve tours and over four hundred attendees in 2023, farm tours are incredibly popular ASCFG program. Apply today to host a tour in 2024! Don’t forget that our suppliers and vendors can sponsor a tour, too!
