We’re bringing the ASCFG community together in new ways in 2027! Mark your calendars for four events designed to deliver practical education, fresh ideas, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow specialty cut flower growers. Please know that all members are welcome to register for any and all events once registration opens!

California Dreaming: Building Resiliency
Calistoga, California, March 9 & 10, 2027

Join fellow flower farmers in Calistoga and Healdsburg, CA, for two days of practical education, creative inspiration, and behind-the-scenes access to the renowned Front Porch Farms! Designed for growers of all experience levels, this conference combines expert-led educational sessions with opportunities to connect, learn, and grow alongside the cut flower community. Day One features a full schedule of educational sessions led by experienced growers and industry professionals covering the latest techniques, business strategies, and production practices. The day concludes with a special floral design demonstration by Max Gill, who will showcase innovative mechanics, color palettes, and design techniques while sharing insights into creating impactful arrangements with locally grown flowers.

Day Two takes learning into the field with an immersive farm tour at Front Porch Farm. Attendees will learn about production systems, infrastructure, crop management, harvest techniques, and postharvest practices firsthand along with an in-house floral design demonstration. Explore real-world solutions, ask questions directly of host growers, and gain ideas you can take home and implement on your own farm. Whether you’re looking to improve your growing skills, strengthen your business, or connect with other flower professionals, this two-day conference offers a unique blend of classroom learning, creative inspiration, and hands-on farm experiences. Buckeyes & Blooms
Columbus, Ohio, April 20 & 21, 2027

Join fellow flower farmers in Ohio for two days of practical education, creative inspiration, and behind-the-scenes access to the renowned Sunny Meadows Flower Farm! Designed for growers of all experience levels, this conference combines expert-led educational sessions with opportunities to connect, learn, and grow alongside the cut flower community. Day One takes learning into the field with an immersive farm tour at Sunny Meadows Flower Farm. Attendees will learn about production systems, infrastructure, crop management, harvest techniques, and postharvest practices firsthand. Explore real-world solutions, ask questions directly of host growers, and gain ideas you can take home and implement on your own farm. The day concludes with a special networking dinner to ensure that attendees have time to connect and truly talk with one another.

Day Two will be hosted by the renowned Leo Berbee Bulb Co. at their facility and features a full schedule of tours and educational sessions led by experienced growers and industry professionals covering the latest techniques, business strategies, and production practices. Hudson Valley Farm Crawl
Hudson Valley, New York, July 13 & 14, 2027

If you love the ASCFG Farm Tours, imagine attending four of them in two days! The ASCFG is pleased to share that the Hudson Valley Farm Crawl will happen on July 13 and 14, 2027, and feature the following four cut flower farms:

  • Six Dutchess Farm: A specialty cut flower and fiber farm in the heart of New York’s Hudson Valley. Located on 12 acres of Dutchess County land, Six Dutchess Farm grows seasonal specialty blooms year-round and raise beloved flocks of Swedish Gotland sheep.
  • Treadlight Farm: Treadlight Farm is based in Kerhonkson, NY. Since 2015, they have specialized in growing certified organic ornamental plants and cut-flowers. Shipping plug trays, bare-roots, and other plants to wholesale customers throughout the year, Treadlight’s goal is to provide top quality plants and flowers while making responsible choices for our staff and the environment.
  • Stark Blooms: A specialty cut flower farm in Red Hook, NY, that offers local flower delivery, national shipping, tours and workshops, and is famous for the Flower Truck!
  • Shoving Leopard Farm: A specialty cut flower farm in the Hudson Valley, growing for CSA, the Hudson Valley Flower Collective, and local farm markets since 2006.

In addition to the packed schedule of tours and educational sessions, attendees will have the opportunities to connect over a community dinner on Tuesday evening. Full program details coming soon!
