How the ASCFG Supports Our Members
ASCFG Regions
The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers has a membership representation system organized by regions. Each region has an elected Regional Director, and this organizational structure gives ASCFG members a direct pathway to representation and participation in organizational matters. Regional Directors bring member perspectives to the Board, help maintain connections among growers in their area, and can identify regional needs, opportunities, and priorities for the organization. Because the regions vary considerably in membership size, geography, climate, and number of growers, regional representation is not simply about geography. It ensures that ASCFG's programming, services, and organizational decisions reflect the experiences and needs of its diverse membership.

Committees
ASCFG’s member advocacy work is driven by strong collaboration across several committees and working groups, including Membership, Community Engagement and Outreach, and more, to ensure flower growers' voices, experiences, and needs shape the organization’s priorities and programs. Through regional representation, member engagement, outreach, and Board leadership, ASCFG creates pathways for members to share perspectives, build connections, and shape the organization's direction. This work supports a strong, inclusive membership community while helping ASCFG understand and respond to the evolving needs of growers across regions, farm sizes, backgrounds, and career stages.
Professional Development Scholarships
The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers, Inc. is dedicated to advancing the domestic cut flower industry in North America. To do this, the organization provides professional development scholarships for members who identify as BIPOC and students currently enrolled in accredited horticulture programs. Additionally, students currently enrolled in an accredited horticulture program may apply for a discounted ASCFG membership. If you are currently growing commercially or have a business in the floral industry, you are not eligible for a student membership. Please note that only ASCFG members will be considered for event, conference, and farm tour scholarships. Learn more
