SUMMARY:Ask an Expert: Branding and Logo Development for Flower Farmers
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the October 2023 Ask an Expert presentation on branding and logo development! Jan Trent will share the basic steps flower farmers can take to develop and assess designs in order to develop a strong logo for their business. The steps would include how to prepare a creative brief\, how to approach assessments of design concepts with creative professionals such as graphic designers/illustrators\, and ideas on how to make your final selections. While the presentation will be most relevant to new farmers\, the same principles apply to those needing to update or refine an existing logo. \nJan Trent operates The Blossom Farm in Virginia and has over 30 years experience in consumer research working for Fortune 500 companies\, including Hershey Chocolate\, ConAgra\, and Wendy’s. While working for those companies\, she was involved with developing logos/brandmarks for new products (including but not limited to Hershey’s Nutrageous\, Cookies ‘N Creme\, Wolfgang Puck Pizzas) and updating existing brandmarks (Marie Callender’s\, Healthy Choice\, Kid Cuisine wordmark and icon\, and Wendy’s wordmark and icon). In her last position at Wendy’s she was a key member of the Image Activation Team\, providing consumer driven insights to the creative team for logo and brand mark updates\, restaurant architectural design/aesthetics\, and menu board optimization. \nZoom instructions will be emailed to members on the day of the event. A recording of this session will be archived in Members Only.  \n  \n  \nSponsored by
