Through the ASCFG, you will get to know the top researchers, retail and wholesale buyers, suppliers, and most important, other successful cut flower growers. The Association of Specialty Cut Flower Growers takes its mission seriously. We formed the organization in 1988 to unite and inform growers in the production and marketing of field and specialty floral crops. To do this for you, we strive:
To foster friendship and sharing through conferences, tours, seminars, and shows–our most important means of providing information on growing techniques, marketing strategies, and new developments in the industry. Through us, you can get to know the top researchers, retail and wholesale marketers and most importantly, other successful growers. To compile, publish, and distribute information pertinent to cut flower production. We do this through ASCFG newsletters, transcripts of conference proceedings, and other relevent publications–all invaluable resources for the specialty cut flower grower. To support and encourage research into the production, handling and marketing of specialty cut flowers. Progress is the key to survival, and the ASCFG encourages research to maintain the vigor of the industry. To educate the distributor, wholesaler, and the general public about–and to promote a greater interest in–specialty cut flowers.
Our essential goal, simply put, is to help growers of specialty cut flowers produce a better crop. Press Release
